Dawon Washington aka Lil Won was born February 6, 1985 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was the second born of three to Karen Rena Washington, the oldest being Troy Washington and the youngest being Davion Washington. They were raised mainly in Arlington and Fort Worth and so often in Grand Prairie. He attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington and Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, while attending Sam Houston he was on their step team known as the Agg-Town Steppas where he showcased his dancing and stepping abilities which led him to captain of the squad. That's where he gained his popularity in the DFW metroplex. During his sophomore year he started rapping with other classmates, which they put out a mixtape called Tag Team, and the next year called the game boys. Lil Won then became a member of Supreme Records which they put out El Teamo Supremo vol. 1 and 2 and Name Dem Shows. With the merger of Pink Slip Records and Supreme Records, Lil Won is set to take over the music game.
